Join Te Ara Kākāriki as Coordinator Support

Te Ara Kakariki Greenway Canterbury Trust seek a paid intern to assist the current coordinator with day to day running of the trust as well as host weekend planting events in Spring.

Beginning in late March the successful applicant will be contracted to work six to ten hours each week with potential for the position to continue into 2021.
The main tasks of this role include organising and hosting volunteer plantout events, writing funding applications and attending management meetings.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
– Good communication and writing
– Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
– An interest in and basic knowledge of the importance of native habitat and the environmental context in Canterbury.
